Bill Goodman While everyone that’s doing the “retro” thing is reaching out to Black Sabbath and other 70’s icons as their influences, Calliope are reaching out a bit further to The Doors for inspiration. Their music is The Doors mixed with a little bit more blues and a little boogie at times

Matthais In fact there are a lot of classic rock influences that can´t be overheard (in my ear the Doors rule). Nevertheless the band succeeds in creating a genuine sound and especially the songs are stunning. I really like that stuff! Favorite track: Mine, All Mine.
